Preditors and Editors' poll Two

Well, the voting is closed and from the unofficial results, it looks like I finished in 9th place. As I said previously, not bad for a story that was offered for free on Captiva Press and had no promotion. I know the poll doesn't mean much in the greater scheme of things but in the mind of a writer, we take these bits of gratification to heart. So spurred on by that success, 2010 means more output from this writer, including finishing a Christmas romance that's been underway for some time and maybe, just maybe, letting Wolf Mallory make his appearance to the world. We'll see.

Stay safe, everyone.

Preditors and Editors' poll

Well, it's the start of a new year and the annual Preditors and Editors' poll is under way. My short story, Scrooge Screwed, available at captivapress.com, was nominated in the short story (other genre) category. Much to my surprise, since I did nothing to promote the story, it's doing quite well in the voting. My deepest thanks to everyone who thought this little story was worthy of the honor and showed their support by voting for it.

And since most of the country is in a deep freeze at the moment, stay safe and stay warm.
